This speculative five story 25,000 SF office building will be located in the SODO district of Seattle. It is a type VB wood and steel framed building above grade level, open concrete parking level with parking for 42 vehicles. Located directly above the parking level, a data center will house a series of computer servers which will generate enough heat to heat the office in conjunction with a closed loop ground source heat pump. The roof top will be a hybrid of solar panels and a green roof. In addition to a complex system of exterior blinds and louvers on a photo-cell for maximum solar control, this building will be applying for a LEED rating.
