David Fuchs

David attributes his passion for architecture to growing up with a science-oriented family in New Orleans. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College in Massachusetts, he returned to his hometown to earn his Masters in Architecture from Tulane University. Born to explore, his work and adventurous spirit took David to stops in Boston, New York, Dublin, Vienna, Basel, and Prague. After his travels, he was drawn to Seattle because of its reputation as a “big city with a personality,” and he’s since honed his expertise as a multi-family housing designer and fastidious project manager.

Despite his artistic background, David prefers to see architecture from the standpoint of a mathematician: figuring out the variables in each design “problem”, then determining the most elegant solution. When he’s not merging the art and science of architecture, David can be found spending time with his wife and two sons, kicking a soccer ball around on Phinney Ridge playfields, and cheering on the Seattle Sounders.
