Maggie Ciaccio

Maggie knew in the 2nd grade that she wanted to be an Architect. Growing up in Chicago, she was inspired by the city’s energy and the sheer scale of the built environment. Mies van der Rohe’s many buildings across the city taught her that the smallest decisions make the biggest impact. She also admired how Frank Lloyd Wright delicately sculpted space and found inspiration in nature. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Architecture degree at Virginia Tech and studied abroad at the University College-Dublin. Today, Maggie is passionate about architecture’s integration into the natural environment and is conscious of how space can affect our health and well-being. She and her husband enjoy being outdoors – hiking, snowboarding, camping, biking, and more – and are striving to live a zero-waste lifestyle through intentional everyday decisions.
