John B. Simons
Born and raised in Texas, John developed a passion for the relationship of architecture and nature as he grew up splitting time between his family’s ranch west of Fort Worth and their home in the city of Dallas. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from Texas Tech University and a Master of Architecture degree from the GSAPP at Columbia University. John began his career in New York City working on a wide range of typologies from commercial office, residential, hotel, and retail centers, to master planning and aviation projects. His work has taken him from North America to Asia, including cities such as Chengdu, Hong Kong, and Singapore. John enjoys calling Seattle his home base as he explores the landscape of the greater Pacific Northwest region, sometimes on foot, occasionally on a boat, and frequently on skis.
