Megan McKay
Partner
Megan joined JA in 2006 while still in graduate school at the University of Washington and quickly made herself indispensable. Joining the firm full time after graduation, Megan was promoted to Partner in 2017 and now takes the helm on mixed-use and multifamily projects throughout Washington. Megan honed her skills on larger scale projects, lending her expertise in public entitlements, code and zoning requirements, permitting, and complex consultant coordination. She strives to communicate design intentions with clarity and efficiency, developing compelling building designs that exceed client expectations, delight users, and inspire surrounding communities. Megan is a frequent contributor to multifamily design publications and discussion panels, where she shares best practices and champions design innovation. When she’s not conducting feasibility studies and calculating FAR, Megan loves to spend time with her husband, human children, and fur babies.
