JA’s Interior Designers were selected to complete the construction drawings and contract administration for the resident amenity spaces in Seattle’s Rainier Square Tower. Located on the 1st, 39th, 40th, and 59th floors, the combined 32,000 SF of amenity spaces offer the residents of 189 luxury high-rise apartments every convenience. In hospitality-inspired leasing office, numerous seating areas provide residents and visitors with semi-private areas to hold casual meetings, gather with friends, work remotely, or enjoy a coffee, all while taking in the 360-degree views of Seattle.

JA re-worked the existing designs to bring uniformity to alignments in the Architecture, consistency in the materials, and refined details for optimum constructability and cost. JA was also responsible for designing and coordinating the ceilings and lighting.

A dramatic wood and steel staircase connects the 39th and 40th floor amenities. JA coordinated with the stair fabricator to improve the design aesthetics and reduce cost. The final result is a beautiful composition of wood treads and handrails, accented by glass and steel guardrails.

Other amenity spaces include a gym, yoga studio, media room, library, banquet room, meeting room, golf simulator room, a kitchen with unique indoor grill station, and an expansive lounge.

The lounge is located above a residential floor, so careful attention was paid to the design and construction details for the wet spaces.

An innovative indoor pet lounge occupies the top floor of the building and includes a dog run, pet relief area, and dog washing stations.
