JA Project Wins Best Winter Sports Shelter in their Mountain Magic Category

The Sunset Home Design Awards honor the people and studios evolving the designs that define living well in the West. These firms are the 2026 winners of the Magic Mountain category.

When its snow-loving clients requested a spot to store their cold-weather gear in the Methow Valley, before they committed to building a home, the Johnston Team came up with a lofted shed design covering their basic needs for storage and shelter, with style to spare.
