Sarah Burk

AIA / Associate
Woman with half dark brown hair and half light blonde hair smiling with her teeth. She's wearing clear-framed eyeglasses and a heathered grey turtleneck sweater.

Sarah grew up in rural communities in Oklahoma and Montana, which shaped her appreciation for design that speaks to residents at every scale and in every place. Sarah earned her BA in Environmental Design and Master of Architecture at Montana State University in Bozeman and decided to settle in the Pacific Northwest, where an urban connection to nature tugs on her Montana heartstrings, but gives her a lifestyle she never imagined for herself in Big Sky country. She was recently elected to the AIA Seattle Board of Directors and serves as Co-Chair of Professional Practice. When she’s not busy working alongside women who are “killing” the architecture game, Sarah works on her long list of home improvement projects and enjoys the company of her furry friends (who are no help at all with a paintbrush).
